About the Event

The prevention and management of violence and aggression (PMVA) is an important aspect of safe care practice, especially in formal health care settings.

Our aim is to provide staff with the knowledge, skills and confidence in managing potential conflict using a range of techniques.

These include:

· De-escalation skills

· Verbal and non-verbal communication

· Tactical manoeuvres to disengage from an aggressor

    Dear Delegate Thank you for registering for the upcoming three-day full course PMVA /MHFA training. You will receive joining instructions. Your certificates will be available on the last day of training upon successful completion. Punctuality is imperative! Light refreshments will be provided free of charge. There is paid parking available at the Swansea High Street Station. Dress Code: PMVA and Breakaway courses include the instruction of practical physical intervention skills.
